The Office of Public Works required a dependable security support service across a number of sites, including keyholding, scheduled mobile patrols, and rapid response to alarm activations and security concerns.

As part of the project, secure keyholding arrangements were put in place to ensure authorised access could be provided when required. This allowed for a controlled and professional response to incidents, contractor access, emergency call-outs, and out-of-hours requirements.

Mobile patrols were carried out across the designated locations to provide a visible security presence, inspect vulnerable areas, check access points, and help deter unauthorised access, vandalism, and anti-social behaviour. Patrol officers completed site checks in line with agreed instructions and reported any issues or irregularities identified during patrols.

Alarm response services were also provided, ensuring that activations were attended promptly and managed in a safe and professional manner. Officers assessed each situation, secured the premises where required, and escalated incidents to the appropriate contacts or emergency services when necessary.

The service provided the OPW with a reliable, flexible, and cost-effective security solution, supporting the protection of public buildings, assets, and facilities while ensuring a professional response across multiple sites.
